An Instant film mood board is one of my favorite themes for mood boarding. It has this nostalgic feel to it, there’s nothing like holding a photo in your hands. With this Photoshop mood board template, we can get pretty close with an Instant film mood board mockup.

In this video, I’m going to show you how to make a mood board instant film photo set in Photoshop. Since this is an instant film style mood board that is very versatile.

Just like with real pictures, you can stack them to look messy or neat. Place them in a grid, like we will be doing here in the video and so many other fun things.

You can also use this as a digital scrapbook. We will also add a bit of “mood” to our mood board with a simple shadow cast. We will take a simple photo and use it to extract a shadow giving the illusion that the leaves are casting a shadow on the mood board.
