Procreate Metallic Effect

Even though Procreate doesn’t have traditional layer styles as you find in Photoshop and other design software, if you understand shadow and highlight, you can make a metallic color in Procreate. Watch the video below I will show you how.
How do you draw a metallic effect?
The most important part of creating. a metallic effect is choosing the right color. Start with a base color, then choose a shade of that color that is two to three shades lighter and two to three shades darker. The light and dark colors will serve as your highlight and shadow.
How do I make things look gold in Procreate?
Making gold in Procreate is the same as making any other metallic effect. You start with the base yellow color, then choose a shade of yellow two to three times lighter and a color two to three times darker. Draw out the colors on your artboard in lines or circles. This will depend on the effect you want to achieve. Watch the tutorial for specific placement and how to blend your colors into a metallic effect.
