Procreate Glitter Texture Tutorial
In this Glitter Texture Procreate tutorial, I’ll show you how to make a basic glitter texture from scratch directly inside of Procreate!
In this Procreate beginner tutorial, you’ll learn how to adjust the Glitter textures to make fine glitter, coarse glitter, and a shimmery colorful style that you can make by adding strategic color overlays.
Making the Procreate Glitter Texture
In the first part of the video, we’ll make a basic glitter texture Procreate style! This is a great glitter texture if you don’t want to or don’t have glitter photos to import.
Applying Color to the Procreate Glitter
In the second part of this glitter texture tutorial, I’ll show you how to apply color to your Procreate texture. In just a few steps you can get beautiful glitter in any color you want or simply make adjustments to the color and saturation of existing glitter.
Using the Glitter Texture with a Clipping Mask
Finally, I’ll show you how to add the glitter texture as a clipping mask into other drawing layers and text.
IMPORTANT NOTE ON SOFTWARE AND TOOLS:
In this tutorial, I am using Procreate 5x with an iPad Pro and an Apple Pencil. You will need to have the Procreate app installed on your iPad to follow this tutorial.
To get the same effect I achieved in some videos you will need a drawing tablet. You can get some inexpensive tablets. These are the two that I personally own, both are very good drawing tablets.
