Photoshop Gold Sequins Tutorial
Use Photoshop to make beautiful gold sequins from scratch. Photoshop gold sequins texture is very easy to make but the results are stunning in text effects, design elements and as backgrounds.
Gold sequins are highly reflective glitter material placed in specific rows. This is an “organized” high-shine glitter that reflects light through movement and light (as glitters do). This flashy attention-grabbing gold texture is very remarkable and can even look like liquid when in motion. Even so, sequins have a simple pattern. The stringed glitter pieces running in straight rows work together to create amazing motion, but they are just reflective metallic pieces placed in an organized way.
In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to create a simple Photoshop gold sequins glitter texture. This texture has light reflections and shimmering accents but they are much more subdued. There are many ways to make a sequin texture. The one we will make together in this tutorial is more subtle but still has all the metallic shine that is so popular in this glittering style.
In order to keep this texture more versatile, this sequin texture is not like the popular Paillettes style with the hole in the center which is a great fashion glitter. I want to make sure that you can use this style for fashion as well as marketing materials and other resources so we will make this one a solid sequins pattern.
