Motivational Quotes Images Online Design Resources
Learn the best places around the web for making quick motivational quotes images for your blog and business. If you’re not into motivation, stick with me here, let me explain.
You may be talking about math equations or teaching people how to build a tree house, it doesn’t matter. The one thing every business has in common are customers that want to solve a problem or feel better about themselves in some way.
We like pictures!
Visuals are vital for attracting and keeping attention from your audience. I could insert a bunch of statistics here to prove to you that this is true. I don’t think that’s necessary at this point.
You know visuals make words easier to read. If you lose interest in large blocks of text why wouldn’t your audience feel the same way? We’re human, our minds function in the same way, for the most part.
We Like Feeling Good
You know what else we mortals like? We like to feel inspired and motivated. That feeling that we can do anything is intoxicating, right?
We love feeling inspired, motivated and like we can take on the world. At least I do, and if you do too we’re two for two here.
What about your audience? You may write about finance or fashion but that doesn’t mean you can’t inspire your readers. Sometimes we feel like we’re drowning in our finances and can’t get out or we feel like nothing in our closet looks good on us. We need inspiration.
If you’re the math person, you know your people are frustrated and learning to build a tree house can’t be easy but they have to know its possible for them.
Inspire your audience with quotes, sayings, and words of wisdom from the greats or thoughts straight from you to them. To help you with this, I’ve put together a list of online resources for creating super easy graphics that won’t take a lot of time but may have a big impact on someone who might come across it in their news feed or on your blog.
Keep your readers motivated about your topic by giving them a dose of wisdom and inspiration every once in a while. They may thank you.
The best quotes for your audience
Some of the resources I’m going to share with you come with quotes already available on the site that you can just paste right in. If they suit your needs, by all means, use them. However, you really want to think about the mindset of your audience. What are they going through?
Let’s take a fashion blogger for example. Your audience might be frustrated with their wardrobe or body image, let’s face it we all are at some point. To support them during these “bad wardrobe days” tailor your inspirational messages to those topics that might help put your readers in a different mindset about those issues specifically.
Where to Find Quotes for your Motivational Quotes Images
Before I give you the list of design resources, I want to give you some ideas on where you might find the quotes and inspirational messages you might overlay onto your graphics.
From Powerhouses in Your Niche
You know who they are, the big names in your industry. Check Twitter for things that they’ve tweeted, check their websites for wise words that you found inspirational. Search for articles they’ve been featured in and take quotes from them.
For fashion, you might look to designers like Coco Chanel. Fashionable people like Audrey Hepburn. Or companies that have made an impact on the fashion world like Tiffany’s & Co.
The task of gathering quotes doesn’t have to be a chore either. If you read, listen to podcasts or watch your virtual mentor’s videos you’ll pick up on a lot of smart things they say. The key is to be conscious about their words.
Even as an expert, you are still learning from those that are farther ahead than you are. Keep a file on your phone for great quotes, ideas, and other words of wisdom you pick up along your learning journey. If something inspires you, it will probably have the same effect on your audience. Especially when the words are isolated on a beautiful background in their newsfeed.
People say amazing, thought-provoking things all the time, we just aren’t paying attention. For some reason, we give words that are put on display a lot more power.
Straight From You
An inspirational message from you, the person they look to for advice is extremely valuable. I know you may not feel like a motivational guru but your words mean a lot. Put your words on a pretty background and get it out there. Your audience might need you to be their cheerleader at times.
If you can’t come up with something to say, check some old blog or social media posts. Don’t over think this. Your words don’t have to sound like a professor of literature wrote them. Speak directly to your people in a genuine way. Quotes and messages like this are about encouragement, not grandeur.
Stoics, Philosophers and other people who have done great things
Quotes don’t have to come from people in your niche but they do have to relate to what the people you’re talking to are going through.
A great source of general wisdom about life, hardship, and triumph are stoics and other philosophers. Philosophers speak about personal ethics and self-discovery as they relate to the human struggle in any form. You can relate them to a wide variety of topics.
Motivational Speakers
Tony Robbins is among one of the most famous motivational speakers but Less Brown, Elizabeth Gilbert, Berne Brown and Danielle LaPorte are also very insightful and extremely empowering speakers as well. Listen to a few good motivational speeches to find some nuggets of wisdom to share with your audience as motivational quotes images.
Making your Motivational Quotes Images
Now that you have a collection of quotes to pool from for your inspirational graphics let’s dive into this list of amazing online resources for creating motivational quotes images.
Resources for Motivational Quotes Images
Keep in mind, this is not a list of apps that you can download to your phone. I do have a post for my favorite camera apps for your phone and I plan on creating a resource list for graphic design apps as well. This list is strictly websites. So if you find yourself on a desktop with a need to create quick motivational quotes images, check out one of these resources.
Quotes Cover
In my opinion, this is one of the most versatile and easy to use of all the quotes creators I’ve tried. The generator has layers for the background and font so the text is easy to position perfectly over your image. There are some interesting image effects you can apply to get closer to your branding and there’s a brush feature so that you can paint right on your image.
BeHappy Quotes Generator
BeHappy is not a dedicated site for generating quotes but they do have a lot of resources for doing so. The main focus on this site is to put your quotes on bags, pillows and other merchandise. It’s cool to see the quote on a mockup but I usually use this just for the quote. The quote is not directly downloadable. You have to embed it on your site or social media. You can download a facebook cover and crop it if you really want the photo. Otherwise just copy the embed link and share away!
Quozio
This quotes generator is super simple. All you do is drop your quote in and choose a background, done.
Pixteller
You can use Pixteller to create all sorts of images including motivational quotes images for your blog and social media. It’s a super easy tool that guides you through the entire design process. You must register before you can design anything.
ReciteThis
Recite is a pretty straightforward quote design tool with some interesting typography treatments that I found to look a lot more like handmade graphics than a simple text overlay on an image. Play around with some of the typography templates. You’re sure to find something that makes your inspirational quote images look awesome.
Quote Pixel
On Quote Pixel you can either browse premade quotes or paste in your own quotes and then share them straight to Facebook from the site. I think the value of this site is finding quick premade quotes to fill up your Facebook stream.
Keep Calm O-Matic
Another great resource for creating quotes and meme’s you can share on social media or on your blog. This site also has a feature to customize text placement to go with your background image.
Ribbet
There is some great design on this one. This site isn’t just for quotes but you can create them on this platform along with photo collages and other graphics editing features. You will have to enable flash to use it though.
Live Luv Create
Live Luv Create is an online meme generator. You can create quotes on this website, you will have to sign up for an account first though.
